The offices of the pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk A/S occupy the 1st floor of the “Status Centre” office building, on the Coastal Avenue towards Kavouri.
The linear 560sqm space overlooks the sea from the one side while on the other faces the centre’s atrium.
The entrance, almost centrally placed, leads to the reception area, which is visually seen from all the office places flanking it. The latter are organized on the side of the atrium as an open plan area, defined by a linear sandblast glass panel down the whole length of the space, making it appear even longer. This separates a second area of private offices that enjoy the view of the sea.
The semi-transparency of the glass panels ensures the visual continuity of the office space while its fluidity is intensified by the use of uniform materials for the floors and ceilings.
The manager’s office and the meeting room are separated from the office spaces with solid panels and occupy the two ends of the linear ground plan in a symmetrical fashion, while a low height, curved, solid partition separates the accounts office from the reception area.
